This short 15 minute 3⁄4-mile hike, was one of the toughest little hikes I've done. We arrived in Page Arizona at around 9:30AM after waking up at 5:30AM in Escalante, Utah. When we arrived at the trail, we were just adjusting to the tremendous heat of Arizona. It was around 105 degrees and the humidity was extremely intense because it had rained that morning. Viewing this immense formation, it looked as if it were made from clay as the Colorado River displayed its beautiful green color. That morning, I only took three photos of this spectacular vista planning to head back for sunset. We did indeed go back and the hike was much more easier.
